Suisun Valley Review accepts submissions via Submittable, email, and mail.
- Use the form(s) below to share your work with us via Submittable.
- If using Submittable, there is a transaction fee of $2.00, and 50% of proceeds benefit SVR.
- You may also email submissions to suisunvalleyreview@gmail.com.

- Simultaneous submissions are amenable as long as we are notified immediately if work is accepted elsewhere.
- We do not accept previously published works. On publication, the contributor maintains rights to each published piece (Suisun Valley Review reserves right of first printing).
- Our submissions are reviewed blind. Do not include any identifying information within the body of your document. All personal information should be in the cover letter only.
- Do not submit entries composed by generative A.I. or entries composed with an A.I. assist. No A.I.; no exceptions.

Fiction Submission Guidelines
- Include a 2-5 line biography in third person.
- No more than two works of fiction per review cycle. Each piece is a separate submission.
- We have a loose word count limit of 4,000 words with exceptions made for exceptional work.
- Indicate if you are an SCC student to be eligible for the Quinton Duval Award in Creative Writing.
- Leave ALL personal information off of your submission itself. We review all submissions blind, so personal information should be included in your cover bio only.
- Indicate title of your story, word count, and any content warnings in your cover letter. Content warnings are not REQUIRED, but they are greatly appreciated.
Poetry Submission Guidelines
- Include a 2-5 line biography in third person.
- No more than seven poems per review cycle.
- Indicate if you are an SCC student to be eligible for the Quinton Duval Award in Creative Writing.
- Leave ALL personal information off of your submission itself. We review all submissions blind, so personal information should be included in your cover bio only.
- Indicate titles of your poems and any content warnings in your cover letter. Content warnings are not REQUIRED, but they are greatly appreciated.
While SVR is principally a literary journal, we encourage and publish visual media as well.
Submission Guidelines for Visual Work:
- Maximum of five images per artist for the current submission period.
- Include size of the original artwork and the media used.
- Submit photo-ready images as high-resolution (300 dpi) TIFF or maximum-quality JPEG files.
- Images must be sent as separate files, not embedded in a document.
- For best results, please send the original, unedited image file directly from your camera or editing software.
- Files should be at least 4x6 inches at 300 dpi (approximately 1200 x 1800 pixels).
- All visual submissions are also considered for the cover image of the issue.
